The Studio7 Pilates story

Jocelyn’s path to studio ownership was by chance; when the studio she was teaching at became available for purchase, she took the leap into entrepreneurship. Driven by her passion for movement, education, and inclusivity, Jocelyn took inspiration from her birth date (7/7/77), the luckiest day of the century, and opened
Studio7 Pilates + Barre on April 1st, 2014.

Studio7 has evolved greatly over the last decade; the studio originally offered a wide range of group fitness classes (Mat Pilates, Barre, TRX) as well as Pilates Apparatus classes and private training. When the global pandemic presented a catalyst for change, Jocelyn chose to refine Studio7's offerings and return to her first passion, Pilates.

For over a decade, Jocelyn has led a team of expert Pilates teachers who are committed to providing safe and effective movement that upholds the principles of Pilates. In addition to serving her clients, she is committed to elevating industry standards by providing her teachers with a collaborative and supportive teaching environment, retirement benefits, continuing education reimbursement, and a healthy work/life balance.

Studio7 has one of the most experienced and educated teams of Pilates Instructors in Kansas City. Our passionate teachers bring a unique blend of skills, decades of experience, and enthusiasm to our studio that ensures a safe, supportive, and uplifting environment for every client.
